Facility

Upon entering the arena through the FedExForum Grand Lobby, fans can get a first-hand look at the Built Ford Tough Training Facility, the official in-house practice facility of the Grizzlies and Hustle.

FedExForum’s center-hung videoboard, designed by Daktronics, measures 16.5 feet high and 145.5 feet in diameter and provides fans with continuous 360-degree live video, instant replays and information on 24 large digital full-color displays. The system consists of nearly 2,700 square feet and more than 5.8 million LEDs. Four additional video displays, measuring 20 feet by 37.5 feet, are featured on each corner of the arena bowl. FedExForum features one of the largest corner video displays in the NBA.

To complement the center-hung videoboard, additional LED displays are prominently featured around the seating bowl. One 360-degree ring of light encircles the entire seating bowl, mounted on the Big River Steel Terrace fascia. A second large display curves 270 degrees around the Pinnacle Level fascia. The LED rings comprise one of the largest amounts of linear feet of LED in any arena in the United States. FedExForum is also equipped with a high-tech sound system, as well as acoustic technology, making the sound in the arena crystal clear, and a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi network powered by Ubiquiti.

Premium Fan Seats

Premium seat holders can enjoy spaces like Sissy’s Floor Seat Lounge to watch the Grizzlies run onto the court from the locker room as well as the exclusive HHM Courtside Club at FedExForum near the Grizzlies tunnel.

Luxury Suite holders have their name engraved on a record outside their suite, and lyric sheets from famous Memphis songs appear prominently on the walls.

Fan Experience

The Big River Steel Edge can be found between sections 201 and 232 and features over 20 TVs for fans. The BRS Edge overlooks the west end of the bowl, and the back side of the space opens up to overlook the Grand Lobby of FedExForum, creating an open flow from Plaza Level up to the Big River Steel Terrace. In addition, fans have access to an outdoor space connected to the BRS Edge.

Fans and event attendees will be able to grab a drink and relax in the Sportsbar, located on the north side of the building off the main concourse. The Sportsbar is a full-service bar with over 30 televisions, a full drink menu and the best public sports-watching vibe in Memphis. The space will be open for all basketball games, pre and postgame, in addition to concerts and select events. The space is available to rent for private events as well.

The Blues Room, located on Plaza Level across from section 116A, is a private, all-inclusive bar and buffet open for concerts and special events. An exclusive entrance to the Blues Room is open 30 minutes prior to public door time and is accessible with a separate ticket, available on FedExForum’s website.

Inclusivity

FedExForum is committed to creating a more inclusive environment, collaborating in 2019 with KultureCity, a nonprofit dedicated to creating more inclusive spaces for people with autism and other sensory issues, to create a Sensory Room on the Pinnacle Level where guests can step away and decompress during an event. Sensory Bags, including noise canceling headphones and fidget tools, are also available to help guests feel calm. Also in 2019, a Mamava Lactation Pod was installed on the Plaza Level concourse outside Section 107A for mothers to have a private space to use a breast pump or breastfeed.

Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum

FedExForum is also home to the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum on the street level of the administration building. The Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum traces the roots of rock and roll and soul music in Memphis, offering visitors a self-guided tour of Memphis music from the early 20th century into the 1970s. The Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum is one of only two Smithsonian Institution exhibits not located in Washington, D.C.
