Verizon Wireless "How Sweet the Sound" Choir Competition returns Oct. 5

Tickets go on sale July 13 at 10 a.m.
Memphis, Tennessee —The Verizon Wireless “How Sweet the Sound” Choir Competition is making its way to Memphis for the third straight year, as the search for the best church choir in America is set to hit FedExForum on October 5.
Tickets for this event are available for $7 and $5 and go on sale Monday, July 13 at 10 a.m. All tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, the FedExForum Box Office or by phone at (800)745-3000. Tickets are subject to additional fees and service charges.
This empowered evening will feature eight of the best church choirs from the Memphis area competing for the title of “Overall Regional Winner,” over $50,000 in cash and prizes and the opportunity to compete nationally for the title of the “Best Church Choir in America.”
The evening will be hosted by GRAMMY®-winning songwriter, producer, arranger and music director, Donald Lawrence. Lawrence will be joined by well-known gospel superstars including Kurt Carr and Michael Davis.
