Memphis, Tennessee — One of the most legendary bands in music history is coming to Memphis, as AC/DC is set to perform at FedExForum as part of their "Black Ice" World Tour on January 30, 2009.

The "Black Ice" worldwide tour, which marks AC/DC’s first tour since 2001, promotes AC/DC’s latest studio ablum, Black Ice. Black Ice will be released on October 20 and sold exclusively in the United States at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and acdc.com. The album’s first single, Rock ‘N’ Roll Train was released to radio on August 28 and immediately went to No. 1 at Rock Radio.
Since forming in 1973 AC/DC has consistently sold-out tours around the world, with sales totaling more than 150 million albums worldwide. The band has sold nearly 70 million albums in the United States alone, making AC/DC one of the top five selling bands in American music history.
